THE STUDIOS

Ovation Sound’s spacious design is both state-of-the-art and comfortable. It puts you at ease from the moment you walk in the door and allows your creativity to flow freely. The central performance space features a Steinway B grand piano and easily accommodates a small chamber orchestra. Several isolation rooms visually connect to this unique space through large sound-proof windows. Ovation Sound’s engineers make use of two fully-equipped control rooms using Pro Tools digital software.

Engineering

Evan Richey is Ovation Sound’s chief recording engineer, and his skills are as solid as they are wide-ranging. Recognized by leading labels (such as Centaur, Albany and Bridge) as one of today’s finest classical music engineers, he also works with cutting edge pop and rock bands (including Fountains of Wayne and Ivy).

Producing

Ovation Sound is known for collaborating closely with artists to produce outstanding performances. The experienced production team understands exactly how and when to guide musicians and vocal talent to achieve rhythmic precision, impeccable intonation, and the ensemble balance necessary for successful studio recordings. The team’s skills have been honed over many years and through hundreds of studio and radio production projects. At Ovation Sound, clients enjoy a relaxed environment in which to stretch themselves artistically, and achieve their highest professional goals.
